It's a Pants Kind of Party

Is it just me or are you guys feeling the 70s vibes this holiday season? I'm embracing it 100% especially with the recent shoot I did at this INSANE 70s loft in DTLA. For all my creatives (and anyone planning an event), one of my best resources for finding shoot locations is Peer Space; it's like Airbnb but for hourly rentals! Anywho, I digress. This is the first of a handful of looks from that 70s shoot and I'm OBSESSED. As a petite gal I've always shied away cropped wide leg pants and honestly, now that I've embraced them, I don't really know what I was so scared of in the first place. Yes, I think they can make you look short if styled incorrectly, but if you showcase the high waist and throw a pair of heels into the mix I'm pretty sure you'll look chic AF.

If this bodysuit looks familiar then you have a good eye because I styled it with jeans and heels in this post from last week. Honestly, it's been a pretty good investment piece this season because it's so versatile.

I'm super bummed because I was going to wear this look to Andy's work holiday party but got hit with a nasty bug on Thursday night! Based on IG comments it seems like a lot of you have also been battling a cold, too. Sending positive healthy vibes your way! xo - Ash
