Hotel Diary: Woodlark in Portland, Oregon

Headed to Portland? Cannot recommend Woodlark enough. We stayed there for a recent girls getaway and it was the perfect vibe, centrally located, and the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept on. There’s also a great cocktail bar hidden in the back of the lobby. Keep scrolling for deets and don’t forget to check out my Portland Travel Diary.

LOCATION

Super central! The hotel is in the heart of downtown and walkable to amazing restaurants, Target, and great shopping. Definitely recommend, especially if it’s your first time in Portland and you don’t have a lay of the land yet.

THE VIBE

SOOOO cute! You can tell that the decor has been meticulously selected and everything fits together perfectly. They highlight green throughout the hotel with a lot of plants, gorgeous wall paper, and statement making headboards. I feel like this is one of those places that’s just US, if you know what I mean: elevated but not stuffy. Cool + trendy but not young.

THE ROOMS

We stayed in a premium room with two queen beds and it was just right for two babes that may be guilty of overpacking. There’s enough space for lounging and GORGEOUS natural light that comes in from outside. Can we talk about the beds? Truly the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept on. So much so that Andy and I just ordered one for our place! P:S: peep a little room tour on my PORTLAND highlight on IG.

The top 3 things I loved about the hotel

Okay, aside from the beds which are hands down my number one favorite thing….

  1. Coffee in the AM: there’s a little cafe in the lobby that serves delicious coffee. And you get to redeem free coffee for every day you stay there.

  2. The vibe! The details are just very ME and I was so inspired by all the decor and branding around.

  3. Cocktail Bar in the back called Abigail Hall (see more on my travel guide) - it was a great meeting spot to meet up with friends and enjoy an after dinner cocktail.
