#Pursuing30: DIY Champagne Bar

cham·ps / SHamĖˆps / a white sparkling wine associated with celebration

By definition, it's not a celebration without some champagne! With the help of One Hope and Ralphs, I created this fun DIY champagne bar the morning of our pool party shenanigans.

Every champagne bar needs 3 things:

1. champagne or sparkling wine: I love this festive bottle from One Hope, plus the brut is delicious and crisp

2. juice: orange juice is an obvious choice. I also went with peach, pomegranate, and mango juices. Grab a few carafes ahead of time to pour the juices in; they make for a prettier display and usually result in less mess. Tip: fill out labels before hand that you can tie on the night before, it helps day of prep!

3. fruit: I picked multi-purpose fruit that I knew wouldn't go to waste. For breakfast we had my delicious enchiladas and the healthier crowd ended up having yogurt with, you guessed it, fruit! Strawberries, blueberries, pomegranate seeds, and raspberries all make for great champagne AND yogurt toppings!

Of course, balloons always make for fun decor. The white balloons in the pics above are actually these "yay" balloons -  I just didn't put the "yay" stickers and only added the heart ones.
