BB Cream & Beauty Tips

BB cream is ALL the rage right now and so are it's sisters: CC & DD. (By the time I'm done with this post there will be a MM cream!) Being the beauty junky that I am, I've been curious to try out this so called all-in-one cream so I was very excited when Revlon asked me to test out their Photoready BB cream and share a few beauty tips. 

The first thing I noticed about the BB cream is that it has SPF 30 - perfect for summer days out in the sun! The texture was very light, but still moisturizing, however, the only problem was the color... the darkest shade (medium) is not made for tan kids like me. Talk about a bummer!

I so badly wanted to incorporate this blemish banishing, anti-aging cream into my morning beauty regimen that I tried mixing it with my tinted moisturizer. This did work for the whole color issue, but kind of takes away from the all-in-one step. Here's to hoping for a broader range of shades in the future!

Revlon also sent over a new polish color, 490- urban, which is a great dark navy that can totally go nautical with some white details:

Thank goodness nail polish works on every skin color! Adding dots is one of my easy tricks to spruce up any mani in a flash. Here are some of my other fave beauty tips:
