New Orleans Style

"Beignet done that" - checking New Orleans off the travel bucket list and it's safe to say that it won't be the last trip. Check back tomorrow because I'm sharing my fave spots in a Big Easy travel diary. In the meantime, here was Friday's Nola tourist look:

Add this as #9 on the list of ways to wear distressed denim! When I travel it's all about light layers and neutral colors that can be mixed and matched; it really makes the packing and outfit creation process SO much easier. Scooped up this jacket on a recent 24 hour trip to SF and pretty much want to wear it everywhere. Note: it's very lightweight, almost windbreaker status, so just keep that in mind if you purchase my East Coast friends. Travel diary coming tomorrow, stay tuned!
