I feel like I’m in constant pursuit to perfect my skincare regimen. Over the past decade or so I’ve really honed in on my go-to skincare products for my oily, acne prone skin and slowly but surely I’m finding the right at-home devices to also keep my skin looking A+. Enter the LUNA 3 by FOREO, a facial cleansing device and firming massager. We’ve been flirting off and on for about a year but really got serious in September of last year when I did my month long trip to Europe. I knew being away from my regular facials, eating and drinking all the things, and getting a lot of sun meant that I needed to really up my cleansing game so I brought her along and since then I’ve been hooked. Let’s talk LUNA 3basics:

• The non-porous silicone bristles remove all bacteria as the device pulsates, while allowing the cleanser to deeply cleanse your skin. You can set up your preferences in the app and customize time and intensities for the pulsations.

How I’ve been using over the past 4 months:

• On vacay: I use every 3rd night for a gentle, yet effective deep clean. First: remove makeup with makeup remover then use Luna 3 by FOREO with a gentle cleanser to really get all the dirt, bacteria and remaining makeup off.

• After workouts: whenever I get a good sweat I use the Luna 3 by FOREO to cleanse in the shower (it’s waterproof!)

• At home: once a week to cleanse and massage to make sure all my serums and ant-aging potions are really absorbing into my skin

Tips, tricks and other thoughts:

• To get started you need to connect it to the FOREO app and set your preferred pulsation intensity. I’ve seen a few negative reviews about having to be connected to your phone ... but honestly, you just have to do this once and personalize the routine to your needs, and then you're good . After that you don’t need your phone anywhere near by just hit the back button on the device and it turns on.

• Really loving the firming massage backside for my neck and jaw-line especially during pregnancy. It helps tighten up everything when I feel a little bloated or look swollen.

• It’s an investment but will last years and years. Think about cost per use and it’s very much worth it!
