Pursuit Beauty: Daily Makeup Routine
Even though I heart trying out new makeup colors and tricks,
I also appreciate snoozing on the weekday AMs which doesn’t allow for much time
to beautify. My work day makeup routine is simple but effective – I like to
call it the 3 minute face! Achieving the 3 minute face all comes down finding the
perfect products + an eyelash curler:

All of these products I use EVERY morning and also as a base for more
dramatic looks. Guess I’m a big fan of NARS and Smashbox, huh?! I didn’t
realize my brand loyalty until I had to document all the products.
Jergens Natural Glow is like the beach in a lotion- a girl’s
got to keep her tan lasting! And it
looks au natural. Smashbox’s tinted moisturizer is the perfect minimal
coverage that adds a little color. I try to stay away from heavy foundations
and powders because they usually look over-the-top and fake.
Like many of you, this girl’s cheeks could not live without
NARS Blush in orgasm. It’s really the shade that compliments all skin tones! Use
the fan brush to apply for day as it gives just the right concentration. Sephora’s ‘Tricks of the Trade’ is my ultimate beauty must-have
because it keeps shine at bay and gives a soft focus glow. (Sadly, I think it’s
been discontinued because it’s only available on Amazon now.)
I use a little Smashbox eyeliner on my lower lash line, curl my top lashes and then coat all with Maybelline XXL Pro mascara. Never underestimate the value of curling your lashes. It really helps make them pop. Trick: blast a bit of heat from your blow dryer before curling to help keep the shape.
Depending on my mood I finish off the daily routine with a nude gloss or Fresh SUGAR lip treatment. Sometimes I'll do a red lip if I'm feeling sassy!
