Bikinis and Beaches: Mikoh in Malibu

Summer does not exist without a little Malibu and Mikoh Swimwear action! I first stumbled upon Mikoh a few years ago in my buying days. I was instantly drawn to their perfectly designed mix and match pieces that are seamless and oh-so sexy.
It's all in the details from the macrame top to the string on string bottoms. Another option is wearing the bottoms with the strings hanging as featured in their lookbook.
One of my favorite things about Malibu is how quiet and peaceful it is. You really feel like you're in a different world compared to any other SoCal beach. It's more of a boyfriend or best friend experience vs. huge group of friends. There's just something very intimate and romantic about it that's kind of hard to explain. If you happen to find yourself in Malibu make sure to stop at two places:

{Malibu Seafood}
Amazing fresh fish with an incredible ocean view

{Malibu Country Mart}
Probably the best beach shopping with stores like M. Fredric, James Perse, and Vince
{mikoh st. lucia top  & mikoh dreamland bottom c/o // rory beca dress - similar here // sam edelman 'gigi' sandals // gifted sunnies - <3 these rebecca minkoff ones }

Mikoh's definitely what I would consider a higher price point, luxury swim line but the comfort and quality are totally worth it. You can't find details like this anywhere else! Next purchase is definitely the banyan top; the back is to-die for.
