3 Los Angeles Faves

It's no secret that I love LA! Besides the incredible weather, there are so many other things to enjoy: amazing restaurants, interesting activities and fabulous beaches. Over the summer I shared my fave SoCal beaches and today I've partnered with Marc Jacobs to share a few other LA hot spots.
{malibu cafe}
Malibu Cafe is a hidden gem I discovered over the summer and dream about on a weekly basis. Located on Calamigos Ranch, it's a fabulous place to have a group brunch, fun day date or romantic sunset dinner. Why is it so magical? It feels like a different universe with paddle boat rides, tree lights and a live folk band. Not to mention there is a vintage carousel and ferris wheel. Seriously, words cannot describe how incredible it is!

{fountain coffee room @ the beverly hills hotel}
When we first started dating, my bf took me here and I thought he was just trying to impress me with his fanciness. Maybe he was but the Fountain Coffee Room has become our go-to for silver dollar pancakes and french toast. The diner is super tiny so definitely go early or there will be a wait. Don't worry, though, if you have to wait you'll most likely cross paths with Shaq; he's a huge fan (literally and figuratively). Not kidding, I've seen him 4 out of the past 5 times I've been! Big guys need their pancakes, too.

{runyon canyon}
Talk about a place to be, and be seen. The first few times I went to Runyon I saw a celeb EVERY time! Once you actually decide you want to work out and not just mingle with the fancies (it takes awhile), then I suggest taking the hard side (far left path) to really get sweaty. It takes a good 45 minutes but making it to the view at the top is totally worth it. On a clear day you can see all the way from downtown Los Angeles to Santa Monica.

What are some of your fave places in LA? Even though I've lived here my whole life I still find that I'm discovering so many places! I kind of like this campaign- maybe I'll start sharing more LA faves?!

Btw, while we're on the topic of hot spots and sunny LA... Mr. Marc Jacobs has a new scent that embodies the city. Check it out!

Honey by Marc Jacobs is a sunny delicious floral – energetic and alluring, with a sparkling, golden touch. The perfect mix of brightness and warmth. The fragrance energizes with the freshness of green pear brightened with a splash of fruity punch and juicy mandarin. At the heart of the fragrance is orange blossom, a note of sparkling femininity that mingles with nectars of honeysuckle and peach. Honey, vanilla, and smooth woods dry down to a warm, golden base.
