#PursuitgoestoNY: Prints in the Plaza
New York Fashion week is well underway and it's safe to say that I'm having a blast while freezing my butt off. It's hard enough deciding what to wear to something as fashionable as NYFW let alone attempting to stay warm while wearing it. When shopping for this season's outfits I made sure to think about one thing: wearability! Can it be worn multiple times? Is it a piece that can be dressed up and dressed down? Will it last through spring? Day 1 was all about prints...
Graphic print tees and sweatshirts are beyond having a moment and I'm happy to be a part of it. It's so easy peasy to grab a graphic print top and throw it on with a pair of jeans and booties for a casual look or go super chic with a sexy skirt and sky high heels. They're like the new white tee with a lot more character!
Since NY is usually a sea of black, I opted for some color with a printed Kenzo skirt. When this Kenzo delivery hit FORWARD I knew I had to have it for spring; the lime hue and scribble print = amaze! Definitely a skirt that can be worn over and over again to work or out with girlfriends. I see a crop top pairing when I get back to LA!
This bag though! Clare Vivier's leopard clutches have been calling my name for almost a year so I finally splurged before my trip. I mean, leopard is a neutral, right? And clutches are timeless. Purchase justified!

One of my favorite parts about NYFW is meeting up with all of my blogger and non-blogger friends which usually leaves me running around the city like a mad woman. Hey, no complaints! On Saturday, Bows & Sequins and I were getting slap happy shooting looks in the plaza. There's only so much coffee that will keep you going after a delayed red-eye flight from LA!
Borrowed the fab Bauble Bar necklace from my NYFW roomie, Corals & Cognacs. It's nice to stay with someone whose jewelry you can raid at all times. If only we were the same shoe size. Have you seen this amazingness?
