Romping Around Miami

When in doubt, throw on a romper. As I mentioned yesterday, rompers are great for warm-weather vacays because they're instant outfits. I mean, no one has time to mess with separates when there are adventures to be had!

This Yumi Kim romper was perfect for a day of fun in the sun (and humidity). I actually bought it without trying it on (bold move, I know) and was pleasantly surprised with the fit. Rompers can be a bit tough for almost anyone because of the whole inseam/crotch to short ratio; it's a torso thing. Half the time my booty hangs out the back of rompers but not on this one! When it comes to rompers, I always look for a tie waste to accentuate curves and a v-neck to battle the "I just threw on a trash bag" look. Since this print is pretty bold I paired it with an equally bold bag - hey, it's Miami- and nude flats.

Zara does it again, btw. Can we just live in Zara's shoe department? If you're looking to pursue these babies, they fit true to size and are beyond comfy from the first wear. The BF can vouch that I walked 8K steps in them last Friday (yeah, it's because his awesome GF bought him a Fitbit).
