#TargetStyle: Denim Dare You
So… it’s time to talk fall. As much as I don’t want to acknowledge that summer is coming to an end, I’m kind of excited for new denim, cute booties, and layers. I’m continuing my partnership with Target (yay!) and this month we’re talking all about denim. As you know, denim for me is EVERYTHING. It’s not a seasonal staple, it’s a 365-days-a-year staple. As we prep for fall I challenge you, or rather, denim dare you, to step out of your comfort zone and try something new. That could be a new wash (go grey or distressed!), cut (boyfriend jeans? yes, please!), or new brand (Tarjay all the way). I recently dared myself to pursue denim at Tarjay and picked up these beauties.
Yes, I’m totally in to distressed denim at the moment (as proven here, here and here) and my number one reason is the “cool” factor. Just when you think you look too dressed up in a pair of Valentinos and a capelet - in comes the distressed denim to add a laid-back California casual chic twist. You know what I mean? I stepped out of my comfort zone by trying a new brand of denim (Target) in a style and wash I know I love. It’s really the best of both worlds and my bank account isn’t complaining; we all love a good high-low mix. Are you guys ready for fall? Kind of? Btw, don't forget to find your style @targetstyle.
