The Best Shoes from Nordstrom's Half-Yearly Sale

It's that time of year: Nordstrom's Half Yearly Sale! The sale both excites me and makes me want to run far far away all at the same time. It's by far one of the best sales of the season so there's this pressure to buy a lot and then 90% of the time it doesn't get worn or I don't really LOVE it. You know what I mean, right? As always, I'm here to help you pursue the best shoes and these 12 pairs are the only ones you need to consider. And you know what they say...

When it comes to sandals go for neutral colors that will last a few seasons. The only exception is an under $50 pair of Sam Edelman 'gigi' because they're the comfiest and last forever. No joke I think I have 5 pairs.

Okay, I'm also loving these loeffler randall sandals. I know my leopard print lovers will just die for them! Although they're not sandals, Sam Edelman has a great modified espadrille this season that comes in a few different colors. Think of them as the ultimate beach vacay shoe!

My strategy when purchasing sale heels is go black. Secret: black tends to make even the trendiest heels look classic, giving them wearability long after the "trend" is over.

These Kurt Geiger pumps are different and super sexy, granted the most expensive. I am surprised at how much I love the Ivanka Trump heels but I think it's because they remind me of my favorite Loeffler Randall sandals from last year; great details!

I die for these Vince booties - warning they fit a little large in the ankle, therefore, don't work very well for us tiny ankle folks. The price is killer though and it's totally worth "risking" free shipping + returns just to see if they fit!!
