#TargetStyle: Cocktails + Nails

This post is sponsored by Target.

As noted by last week’s post, I’m really into the summer cocktails. As a matter of fact I’m just really into summer in general; it’s a totally different state of mind.

Anywho, I’m continuing my beauty partnership with Target and this month we’re spotlighting nails and cocktails. What do they have in common you ask? When summer comes around all of a sudden I cannot get enough color in my life i.e. pretty cocktails, colorful manis, and everything in between. True life, every other time of the year I’ll take a regular vodka soda and nude mani but something about summer says give me all the bright, colorful things (that just so happen to make for great Instagram pics).

This gorge pinkish-purple from Essie has been my go-to lately. The name is Coacha’bella… so cute! In another life I want to be on the team that names nail polishes. #justsaying And the pink cocktail? Something that’s super easy and can work for the beach, pool, or outdoor movie in the park:

Prep time: 7 minutes | Yields: 12 servings

Ingredients:
  • 20 oz of quality Vodka
  • 16 oz of Simply Lemonade with Raspberry
  • 2- 12 oz cans of Diet Cherry 7 Up
Mix everything together and serve over ice for a refreshing pink cocktail. Of course, a pretty garnish always helps spice up that instagrammable moment. You can also opt for regular 7-up if you’re not a fan of the cherry flavor, either way, the 7-up adds just the right amount of fizz that makes the drink super refreshing. Cheers!

Btw, I’m prepping for my bff’s bachelorette party and am totally stressing over fun games and party ideas. Any tips? Thinking this drink could make for a delicious pool day cocktail but other than that I have some serious pinterest browsing to do. #help
