No Shoes Kind of Summer

Did you guys have the best 4th of July weekend? I'm still recovering from an epic Palm Springs trip; one of those I need a vacation from my vacation situations. It's amazing how laying in the pool drinking all day can really wear a girl out.

I posted a sneak peek to this look on Instagram and one of my friends commented "pursuit of no shoes" which made me giggle. Apparently it's a shoulder baring, no shoes kind of summer. To be honest, I'm just starting to dabble in the off-the-shoulder world as I used to think the style made me look broad but now I'm coming around, especially for this fun summery Chicwish dress:

This dress just screams summer which is why I had to grab a lemonade mid-shoot. Are you guys into off-the-shoulder styles? I love this maxi style because it balances everything out and accentuates the waist. It also makes for a great cover-up for a strapless bikini! I'm wearing a size xs/s which fit perfectly.

PS: apparently it's National Bikini Day. I'm not one for national days BUT I do love me a good bikini: here are my fave bikinis from this year.
