A trip to Mexico always puts a smile on my face, especially when it’s a new spot! Over the weekend we celebrated our close friends’s wedding in Merida, Mexico and it was was such a blast. Merida is a quant little town in Yucatan, about 3 ours west of Cancun. I will say it’s a little bit of a pain to get there (no direct flights) but it’s yet to be tapped as a super touristy spot so everything is V reasonable (we’re talking $4 Uber rides + $100 a night Airbnbs that fit 14 people reasonable). The vibe reminded me of Barcelona meets New Orleans meets Cuba; apparently the city has doubled for Cuba in a ton of movies!

My go-to denim shorts in the video didn’t get any photo love (sorry, was living my best vacay life) are always on repeat for any tropical destination! I’ve gotten tons of questions about sizing on them - I’ve found AGOLDE to be TTS. But also, Shopbop has a great return policy so if you’re unsure my motto is to always order two sizes. Ooh also, one of the biggest game-changers on this trip was the hat clips from Toptote. They make packing and carrying your hat while on vacay SO SO easy. Def recommend if you’re a big hat person when you travel!
