Worth The Hype: Billie
Billie has been high on the “try for worth the hype” list for awhile now and I’m so glad I can finally check it off the list and give you my thoughts. Here’s the thing: sometimes a brand is all over our social feeds because they have good marketing AND they have a great product… the ultimate combo. Enter Billie!
Billie Razors review - are they worth the hype?
What I didn’t realize until recently was the PRICE! I mean $9 for a quality razor and $9 for 4 refill blades? Sign me up! That’s their thing: saying goodbye to the Pink Tax and over paying for razors. I’ve been using their razor for about a month and it gets the job done… very well might I add. I’m a shave-once-a-week kind of person, mainly cuz I don’t have as much time as I used to (hi, baby!). And when I do shave, I hit ALL the regions if you know what I’m saying.
Aside from the price and quality, what I really like about the Billie concept is that they will deliver 4 refill blades ($9 bucks!) as often as you need them. YOU get to pick the cadence based on how often you shave. As a new mama and just a busy person in general, I like to streamline ALL my things: food delivery, monthly wine clubs, vitamin subscriptions… you name it. And TBH since I don’t shave that much, I’m always that person who is using a blade WAY past it’s expiration (gross!) and not realizing it until I’m mid shave… and forgetting to buy a new one… and then not realizing it until the next shave… it's a really unhygienic cycle hah!
So long story short: Billie razors are WTH! And side note, cuz I’m a real sucker for branding, their branding is V cool. Everything from the packaging to the copy is just spot on and I appreciate that. I’m here for it!
If you’re curious about their shave cream I have to be honest and say that I’m not really a shaving cream connoisseur. I’m a lathery soap kind of gal. When I find myself with shaving cream within arms reach it feels like such a luxury. I will say that the Billie one is cool because it isn’t in an aerosol can which I’ve never seen before.
Weird things I think about now that I’m a mom? I hope Billie is around when Luna starts shaving so I can buy her this gift set and be the “cool mom” - hah. xo - Ash
