What to Pack In Your Hospital Bag: the Essential List from Bump Bestie

It truly seems like yesterday we found out we were expecting. Time flies always but especially when you’re pregnant, or at least that’s how it’s felt for me. With only 10 weeks to go, the countdown has begun and the to-do list is becoming MUCH MORE REAL. We’ve been working with Bump Bestie since the beginning of our second trimester to help us navigate all the products and decisions that need to be made for baby (more on that here) and it’s been so helpful. Here is an essential list that we put together for your hospital bag:

In terms of timing, it’s best to have your hospital bag ready no later than 36 weeks just in case. Same with essential registry items!

Just reading through this I get ALL the feels at the idea of bringing our little girl home. One thing I put on this list that technically isn’t essential is a hospital welcome set for your little like these from Newborn Nest- they include super soft linens, swaddle, hat, and hospital gown. Not only are they way more comfy than what the hospital provides, they have such beautiful designs that will make for perfect arrival photos.

Don’t forget that Bump Bestie is an AMAZING resource! She has tons of downloadable checklists and services she provides. She is also doing virtual 1:1 calls for $20/15 minutes. Her knowledge is invaluable!

Sending you mamas-to-be lots of love. Don’t forget there’s tons of helpful baby prep content saved to my pregnancy highlight on @everydaypursuits and I’m adding to my baby gear highlight often.
